What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our prices vary per event. We tailor each event to the exact desire of our clients! We offer added Lighting, uplighting, multiple sound systems, screens and projectors in addition to each DJ package. All “add on’s” are at a discounted rate. We also happily offer Military and service discounts!

 

 

What types of events would a DJ or photo booth be good for?

Our DJs are professionally trained for a minimum of one year before they are sent out on their own. They are trained to “read the crowd” and cater to what helps everyone have fun! Our DJs and Photobooths are the perfect addition to most any event including weddings, proms, corporate events, birthday parties, fundraisers, anniversaries, holiday parties, trade shows, reunions, formals and more!

 

 

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of our DJ’s are trained for at least a full year (12 months). Our DJ’s are constantly “cross-trained” among each other, as well as with our “friendly competitors”, where we share new industry secrets. Our DJ’s are also up-to-speed with the most current charting songs and artists, thus, constantly growing the musical knowledge of each DJ!

 

 

How did you get started doing this type of work?

It was a simple decision for us to get into the DJ business! Simply put: We love to see people happy and we love to see people have fun! Becoming a DJ was the childhood dream of the founder of Live Events! This is our passion!

 

 

What geographical area do you provide DJ, Photo Booth and Audio Visual services in?

We serve a large portion of the Mid-West! The Ozarks, Northwest Arkansas, Mid Missouri, Southeast Missouri, Southeast Kansas, Northern Missouri, Northeast Oklahoma.

 

 

What types of customers have you worked with?

We provide professional DJ services for ALL events with all types of music! Weddings, Proms, Reunions, Private Parties, Birthday Parties, School Events, Corporate Events, Holiday Parties, Block Parties, Pool Parties and so much more! We play hip-hop to pop, rap to rock, classic rock to classical, alternative to jazz, blue grass to standards.

 

 

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently got to DJ a lakeside wedding and reception. The Bride and Groom were thrilled with the DJ & Lighting services that we provided! They couldn’t applaud us enough! The Brides mom took us aside during the Reception to rave over the work we had done so far. As the event was winding down at the end of the night, the Brides brother came to the DJ booth and told us “Thank You for giving my sister (the Bride) the best night of her life! We were honored!

 

 

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be careful when choosing a DJ! Your event is VERY important! Be sure to hire a professional DJ that will strive to make your event fun and memorable for your guests! All too often we hear: “my cousin is going to DJ our wedding from his iPhone”. Please make sure you hire a DJ who can professionally execute every detail of your event! Hire a DJ who will “make the music flow” appropriately! Hire a DJ who knows how to pack a dance floor! Hire a DJ who can clearly make your announcements! Hire a DJ who “knows what they’re doing”!

 

 

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project

I wish customers knew the huge amount of effort and thought that goes into each unique event. We truly care about our clients and we are genuinely concerned that each and every event is an ABSOLUTE SUCCESS!
